I cant seem to conect to the wi-fi with this camera. I follow the instuctions on screen then the manual tells me not to conect to the arlo router how do/dont I do that.

Please be more explicit as to how you're attempting to sync. It almost sounds like you're attempting to sync the Q with an Arlo base statilkn which is not possible. It connevcts directly to your router.
