VMB3000 Arlo Security Base not discovered

I have followed all the steps for setting up my new camera system, but the base (device) wiil not be discovered by my smart phone app so that I may complete setup. My router shows a yellow light at the ethernet cable to the router connection rather than green.
Can you assist?

That indicates that the router-base station connection is made but the Internet connection from the base to the servers is not. Without the Internet LED being green you won't be able to complete the setup. For starters, try powering off your modem, router and base. Then power them on, one at a time, modem first, let it initialize, router second, also let it initialize and finally the base. Do you get a green LED then? If not, use the reset button on the base and hold it until the LEDs flash amber. Wait ~2 minutes untiol the base completes its startup and see if that helps.
