My device has 50% signal strength but the purple light is flashing.  Any way to resolve this?  50% is way to high to set off a low signal light.

The flashing purple LED indicates the camera is too far from your router and you could experience issues due to this. Consider relocating the camera closer to your router to improve the signal.

Have you tried different wifi channels?  For some reason my Q's don't like channel 1 i.e. purple light flashing intermittently.  When they are on channel 11 I don't get any purple lights.  Both channels have similar congestion in my environment.
