Hello,
I installed Arlo Q at my house and I have enrolled for the CVR plan. I need to play thru almost 12 hours of video to figure out when certain activity happened but I don't have a way to speed play the recording by 5x or 10x or something like that. It does not make sense sit there for 12 hours staring and watching the video and hope I catch the activity. Is there some feature that will let me do this? This is driving me insane

Is it possible on any Arlo cameras? Or is the playback software the same for all? I need to add a few more cameras and I'm finding the lack of fast playback to be a big limitation for me. I waste hours trying to play videos until I find what I'm looking for.

There is no FF capability. You either need to manually click on short intervals while watching a video or download them to be able to use software that supports FF.

Yes, I understand that, it's what you said previously. My question is whether the playback software is the same for all Arlo cameras. I have an Arlo Q like the original poster and need to buy additional cameras. If I purchase a different Arlo model, will I be stuck with the same playback software?
I have been manually clicking short intervals but that is very tiring when having to look at days worth of footage. And since there is no way to automatically download multiple clips, downloading each one isn't much of a solution either.

I use a Python script to automatically download all videos from the day before via the computer scheduler. If it would be useful to you PM me your email address.

Another user (a few of them, actually) took the time to figure out how to log into the servers using your own credentials. Once logged in properly, you can navigate to the storage area for your videos and download them. It's frankly over my head (I'm not a programmer, just a hardware geek who can piddle around with programming) but it requires the script to do this - I've unsuccessfully tried other ways.
