Why do you limit me to 1 connection at a time? What if my wife and I both want to monitor cameras at the same time? Is there a way around this limitation or do I need to return the cameras?

It's a security feature. You wouldn't want some random person accessing the account without you knowing. If you want more than one person to view the cameras, create a second account for your wife and GRANT ACCESS to her

I do not view it as a 'feature', it is a draw back. I need constant access to my cameras and your 'security' makes my home less secure but requiring multiple accounts to view the cameras on separate devices, and constant time outs and disconnects.
If I subscribe to the CVR feature will I face the same problems? I need reliable constant connection to my cameras in order to keep the troubled youth I take care of safe.

cnjmorris,
The only way to view using multiple devices at the same time is by sharing cameras through the Grant Access feature as mentioned above.
CVR does not allow this. CVR provides continuous video recording up to 30 days (depending on subscription). For more information on CVR and how it works, see here: What is continuous video recording (CVR) and how do I get it?
