Have noticed that the camera is disarmed when viewing live,
Anyone else with the same issue/situation

This is normal...when live viewing you're manually over-riding the ARMED status, btw you can start a record manually if needed. (target icon )

The CVR does it own record reguardless of live viewing ... the CVR is just really a stand alone recorder for 24/7 that also shows triggered events by blue/green bars above time.   ( the trigger events appear on the timeline AND as normal videos in the library )

If you're viewing your CVR timeline, you're live viewing by default. Using the live view button will not do anything to CVR, as Tom says.
