When I opened the Arlo app on my smartphone I noticed (against an orange background) the notification that "your session has expired - please log in" What is a "session" ?  And why do I have to log-in?  AshleyLord

AshleyLord,

 

This just indicates that you were signed out of the app due to inactivity. It sounds like you may have settings on your mobile device that close or put idle applications to sleep after a specific amount of time.
