My Arlo q won’t complete set up. I go through the entire set up process just fine, however, when I get to the final part it starts searching for a base station even though it’s not supposed to need one. When it can’t find one, it stops the process and I start all over. I’ve tried resetting I’ve tried to the process multiple times and the same and result. And yes, I am using the Arlo q add new device, I connect to the WiFi, I sync and get the QR code, but then it always tries to find a base station.

Assuming you're using the app, try the web client (or vice versa).

Ok, tried the web app. Got through the QR code like before. This time said “discovering your device” but it never did, so same result.

When you reset, did you hold the button until the camera clicked and the LED flashed amber?
