Arlo Q won’t connect. Amber LED all the time, no response when syncing, tried factory reset, etc.

Hi, 

It will be great if someone can help me. Just purchase the Arlo Q and having problems during set up:

—Amber light is on all the time

—No response as I press the sync for a long time (no blue light)

—Tried factory reset doesn’t work

—Tried 2.4 or 5 don’t work 

—Use WPA2 won’t work

 

How to get my router to recognise the Arlo Q?

The proper reset procedure is to hold the reset button until the camera clicks and the LED flashes amber. Have you done that?

 

As for the WiFi needed, the Q can only use 2.4GHz and requires WPA2.
