After working faithfully remotely in our condo, my Arlo Q suddenly stopped working. I powered it down and a when I reapplied power the amber LED comes on steady, but never starts to blink. Pressing SYNC or RESET (for 30-60 seconds) has no effect. Power draw on the USB port measured with an inline tester is 0.42 Amps at 4.92 Volts. If left in this condition for several hours the camera makes a clicking sound and the amber LED blinks once from time to time then goes back to steady amber. This occurs sporadically but never less than 15-20 minutes apart.

Is this a known failure MODE? I read that it might be indicating an inability to boot, perhaps from corrupt firmware or an interrupted firmware upgrade? Is Arlo firmware automatically from time to time by the manufacturer? Our condo is in an area prone to power failures so it is possible that if a firmware update was taking place when a power outage occurred it might have 'bricked' my Arlo Q.

Any thoughts or advice is welcome.

Thanks!
