Some incompent guys are fiddling around again with the software. The recording button is suddenly gone and the microphone button comes in in place. One cannot enlarge the icon anymore when viewing, and now suddenly alle recordings seem to be missing.
Could your guys pleas work on an offline version when developing, please and only go live when it is duly tested ?
Arlo is such a bunch of amateurs...;

Sounds like a local issue. I can live view and manually record just fine. The usual resolution is to reboot the phone and reinstall the app to see if that helps.

I have also noticed weird things happening on the app since at least earlier this year. Sometimes the record button is missing. Sometimes the arrows in the upper right corner to expand the view to landscape is missing. I have to close the view or app. It comes and goes. I have not noticed a pattern. It happens during live views and reviewing videos. Not all the time, but of course it happens during the most inopportune times.
Particularly frustrating when I am doing a live view and want to expand the larger landscape view to better see what's going on in more detail. And if the record button is missing, then I can't even record the activity in case there is a problem and I want evidence.
I have legacy cameras (Arlo Q, Pro 2, and Arlo Baby). My app is the Library format on Android.

There is one consistent pattern I noticed and posted in the Ultra 2 section because I wanted to know if this was an issue with Ultra 2 and Pro 4s.
When I get an alert on a camera, it is set up to record for a fixed length of time (e.g., 2 minutes). If I see the alert and I go to Live View for the camera, then it stops recording immediately. But the record button is greyed out, and I cannot record during the Live View. So I am left with no recording of the event. I have to stop the Live View and reinitiate Live View in order to get the record button back. By then, the event is likely over (e.g., trespasser, crime, etc.).
This is extremely problematic because if, for example, a crime is being committed, then I have no evidence. I don't remember this being an issue in the past. If this is now by design, then it's an extremely ineffective security camera.
It's not clear to me if only this only affects legacy cameras. Someone replied to say that for Ultra 2s and Pro 4s record automatically during Live Views. I don't have any, so I cannot confirm.

Not seeing the issues you describe...

Yes mine aren't working either. All 3 went offline at the same time. No videos have been recorded since 26th August at around 22.45 BST. But I can live stream and record and view cvr. The night vision also comes on randomly even though it is set to off. I wonder what is going on. I am in the UK using android.
