I purchased two separate base stations for 2 separate properties.  One works fine and has 4 cameras and a Q.  The second system is only allowing me to add 1 camera and says that I need a subscription to add more. I thought I was able to add 5 cameras to each base station without needing a subscription.  Also, 2 of the cameras that I want to add to the second system are Q’s and they say the same thing.

The arlo 5 unsubscribed camera limit is account related not base station related.

If your still using the older UI interfaced arlo app with library you could use a separate account at the other location and share accounts.

To share accounts requires both accounts to be using the same UI interface. New arlo accounts default to the newer UI interface as per arlo design.

The original free 7 day plan is for up to 5 cameras per account. As above, base stations don't count in any way. A second account for the new cameras is needed. ALso as noted above, new accounts are using the new user interface (UI) so if you want to use grant access to share the cameras from one account to the other, you'll have to migrate the old account to be the same UI as the new account. You don't have to do that but then you'd have to log out from one account and log into the other to check and manipulate the systems.
