My Arlo Q just started giving me a message that "Your camera needs to cool down before you can use it.". It's been in the same location for over a year and a half with no problems. The camera is indoors and pointing out a window with no direct sunlight. Any suggestions?

Once before I've seen this, while its normal for the Q to be warm, it was from someone having it on/above a radiator.... Any other heat source near it?

As i mentioned earlier it's been in the same place for over a year. We have even had a heatwave with over 100F outside that window and I never had any overheating issues. Just lately it's been having that "needs to cool down" error even though the weather has been a lot cooler now.

balbs,
Try temporarily relocating the camera to see if it still behaves the same way in a different location. This is a good first step in isolating if the issue is due to the cameras location.
