Arlo Q, records movement, but error message on phone says it's not connected ??

We have other Arlo Q cameras that work fine....added a 5th Q camera and it records movement videos that play back with sound, but the on screen message says it's not connected. Have removed and reinstalled several times...does it need ' a day ' to update firmware or software ?

Have you rebooted the phone and reinstalled the app? Have you tried the web client?

Interestingly the error message went away overnight....  since it was recording movement and putting videos into the library it HAD to be connected....so I thought I would just leave it alone overnight see if it straightened itself out .  

 

It did ...  I've seen this before with Q cameras....they go through the setup process fine, view the barcode , make the 'Chime ' sound , take a name, and say ' Finished ' and then they do not connect properly.  A day later they are fine.

 

It's almost like a delay in the app.
