Hey - can't add a second Arlo-Q.  It will scan the code and chime, but then it makes an error sound and then won't connect.  I returned it and exchanged it for another, thinking it was a hardware problem.  Alas, it is happening again.  Great product, would be awesome to get a second one working.

I removed the special characters from my SSID and attempted to add the new camera.

It gave me the error that it couldn't connect.

However, I went back to the camera page and it was there.

Strange, but it's working now.

Thanks for your help!

spostma,

Are there special characters in your SSID? You could try connecting the Q to a guest network first and allow it to update firmware and then try connecting to your primary network.

For more information on this, take a look here: Can special characters in a network name cause problems for Arlo Q?
