Arlo Q Won't Connect

My Arlo Q use to work.  i have removed the device and tried to add again.  i have unpluged, reset and dont know what else to do.  when im trying to install after scanning the bar code, the camera will make a weird noise and the light goes to amber.  seems as if the camera is no good.

Have you tried a reset of the camera?

Yes I did several times. I finally spoke with Arlo Support who says the camera is possibly broken. That I would have to buy another one since it’s not under warranty. That’s not happening.
