Arlo Q Microphone Will Not Connect

I just purchased an Arlo Q and I cannot get my microphone to connect. I have tried to connect through my iPhone 6s and my MacBook Pro. Neither would work. It just says connecting, but never actually connects. For both, I have granted access for Arlo to connect with my microphone. I have also tried to connect via wifi and my phones data plan. One of the reasons I purchased the Arlo Q was for the advertised 2-way audio. At the moment I can only hear the audio 1-way. Please help!

May I ask what Firmware Version you are running?
To find this, Launch the Arlo APP or Go to arlo.netgear.com Select Settings > My Devices > Arlo Q > Device Info > The Firmware will be displayed at the bottom.
Also, is this a brand new Arlo Q you are setting up? You may need to wait for an update that takes place automatically overnight.
