Can this camera be mounted outdoors in cold weather. It will be under roof..........

NETGEAR does not recommend Arlo Q be used outdoors as it is not a weatherproof device. Arlo Wire-free/Pro/Go are all weatherproof devices that could be used in outdoor conditions. For more information on these products, see here: Arlo Products

Providing it will not get wet then it should be OK although if it does get damaged due to being installed outside you may have warranty issues. The camera does run warm so it should be able to handle the cold.
I have one installed on the railing of an upstairs balcony.
