With the old app, my live view was crystal clear. Now with the new app, it is out of focus and cloudy. What’s up with that?

Since the app doesn't affect clarity in any way other than how it may be displayed, I'd suggest reinstalling the app, using a computer browser as well as downloading the video to view for comparison. I see no difference between new and old video. It may be that the camera lens needs cleaning.
