I have 3 arlo q cameras in a 2nd home 1000 miles away. Obviously, I need these cameras to check on my property when I'm away. All 3 cameras just went offline after having no issues for 3 weeks. I suspect a power or internet interruption. What I've been able to glean from other posts is that there's nothing I can do to fix this offline status until I go back to this property 6 months from now. If this is truly the case, then in my opinion, Netgear doesn't really have a commercial product for my application. This was a big waste of money for me. I will remember Netgear for this.

No one else has any access? Do you have any way of determining that your WiFi is up and running? Having all 3 cameras down at once seems to be an issue with something other than the cameras, like your router.
As we've been suggesting for years, a WiFi switch for remote installations to be able to power cycle remotely can be a Good Thing. A UPS for your modem, router and any Arlo bases (which you don't have or need) is also a good idea.

No one else has access. I don't suspect a camera problem, but most likely an internet issue. Regardless, there should have been a thought process at Netgear for this scenario, and a way provided to fix it. Or, at least a warning in advance that this camera system needs someone to reset it locally in case of a power or internet outage. So, from now to November, I might as well not have any home surveillance cameras. Waste of money. Won't use Netgear again. For anything.

Why am I only now finding out about a "wifi switch" when it's too late? I guess I'm learning that buying online is not what it's cracked up to be. If I had purchased cameras at Best Buy, at least I would have been able to question the sales guy and find out this information in advance.
