I successfully configured 2 of my 3 cameras. Trying to set up the 3rd one, things start out normally as follows:

  1. Flashing amber light
  2. Sync button gives flashing blue light
  3. Camera chimes after reading the QR code
  4. Attempts to connect
  5. After about 30 seconds, it makes a two-tone sounds that sounds like some kind of failure
  6. Light goes back to flashing amber

I've gone through this cycle a couple of times after unplugging the camera and then re-plugging it in after about 30 seconds and re-trying.

My bad, I didn't notice that the Add Camera wizard had populated the wifi SSID/PW with my account login. So the problem was that it was unable to connect to the wifi. I entered the correct wifi SSID/PW and it worked fine.

Thanks for replying.

Try and reset the Q camera

Hold in the re-set for about 10 secs till the front LED flashes amber.

Then go thru the normal sync process as if new
