I bought a QPlus. It was about 30Euro more expensive then the Q. But the only difference is a POE adapter.
And this adapter is senseless. The final cable is lmly about 20 cm long. I have to go with the power also to the camera. Thats strange I have never seen that. The main reason for POE is that I only have one cable to the cam. Is this only a prototype?

If you're running Ethernet to the camera, you can power the camera with that cable IF the router or switch supports PoE. You will need to use an appropriate cable, too (CAT5 or better).

As someone else said make sure your RJ45 patch cable is Cat 5e or better and that you switch has POE capabilities or use something like this.
