Does Q+ cvr FAIL like Q, Is it worth switching to Q+?

We have a Q, on $20 monthly payment CVR, and it fails after several hours, and has horrible choppy video quality saving.

It seems this is a common problem, tech support says ""Live With It" until we solve it someday.

The solution is to constantly turm the camera ON/OFF within the software, as initially it works, and then fails over time.

Does Q+ have these same issues?

Have you opened a case yet? Hardware issues can only be solved that way.

I have a Q Plus and 3 Q cameras.  They all operate the same as far as I can tell.  I have them all on a timer that shuts off power for one minute every day, and that seems to make them operate pretty well in my situation.  I agree that CVR makes the cameras operate less optimally (unlike non-CVR operation, the videos begin after the event rather than a few seconds prior) and the video quality degrades over time (requiring a regular reset, the frequency of which may depend on the upload bandwidth of your ISP and the video size you've chosen).
