Can't disable notification sound on Arlo Q Plus with Android

My wife and I recently got Samsung Galaxy S9+ phones and I cannot disable notification sounds. We previously had Galaxy S7's and didn't have this issue. Every time the Arlo is triggered, my phone makes a sound even though I went into settings and changed it from the default sound to silent.  I also uninstalled the Arlo app and it's still doing it.  This is really annoying, as it constantly goes off while we're home.  Any help is appreciated.

The latest app has an issue changing the sound. Use the phone settings for the app to disable the notifications for now.
