Can't log in with phone app

The web page works fine. I just can't log in using Android. I've tired (after reinstalling of course) many times on my Samsung S21, another Samsung and an Android tablet. All of these deices respond the same. I enter my username, my password, and from there (after a short wait) the app simply removes my password leaves me at the same login screen.

When attempting to log in, does the screen show a link under the password to try a different authentication method? Try using that to see if you can then get in.

No, unfortunately the login screen only gives me the option of "Forgot Password". I've used that to reset the password but it still removes the password and leaves me at the login screen when I try to log in with the new password.
