Arlo Q+ - VMC3040S not being discovered

Have just purchased Arlo Q+ along with a new Netgear POE switch to repl;ace my non-POE switch.  Fitted the new switch all existing devices working OK.   Added the Arlo Q+ via POE port on switch, amber light flashing slowly and switch indicates power being supplied.

Tried to discover the camera but this timed out.  Tried on Eithernet, but same result.   Then tried it via WiFi, get as far as the Q code, the camera chimes, and then about 10 seconds later buzzes and discovery times out.   

 

Not sure what the issue is, apart from a faulty camera.   Any thoughts or help much appreciated.  Have opened support case but dont know when they will ring back.
