I'm choosing a POE switch and would like to know how many watts to expect each Arlo Q Plus camera will use.

With POE there is no USB supply.
FYI POE is 37-57 volts which makes it good for long runs. The Arlo Q uses 400mA at 5v for a total of 2 watts. The Arlo Q plus should draw a very similar amount of power (if it drew significantly more power then it would get too hot). There will be conversion losses in the POE adapter that would need to be added as well. I would probably budget 5 watts per camera if I were buying a switch.

Since the unit is fed by a USB supply, it's at 5v dc...and an educated guess would be prob no more than 500ma-600ma draw
