A fix for this went out recently that should resolve issues with the push to talk feature when using a T-Mobile device on a data connection. Please let me know if you continue experiencing any issues.

Hi James C I don’t have T-Mobile I have AT&T and push to talk doesn’t work on WiFi or data or LTE I return the home base and cameras and  Exchange for another set  they do not work either  I took my phone to Apple at them check out the microphone there’s nothing wrong with it and they showed me how to test it myself. So how do I get this fix for my iPhone 7+ oh  by the way it doesn’t work on my wife’s iPhone 7 Plus either. We have IOS 11.1.2.

Arlo Pro push to talk is useless!  Nothing like advertised.

Time for action, not excuses! Refund or fix.

RC5977,

What issue are you experiencing with the push to talk feature? Could you provide more details?

3 cameras. Using iPhone 7+, iPad Pro ; both running 11.1.2.
No volume from any camera speaker no matter which device is used.
I read above where you acknowledged an issue with the cameras...what is the fix?

Arlo pro no sound coming from the camera you can yell at your phone or anything else you want to try. The camera speaker doesn’t work just as 100s of other people are saying on here

The discussion in this thread was related specifically to an issue with T-Mobile devices. That issue has been resolved.

Check your cameras audio settings to be sure the speaker volume is turned up. You can find the camera audio settings by logging in to your Arlo account and navigating to Settings > My Devices > select your camera > Audio Settings > Speaker

I am a security systems specialist and I initially thought this was just the right platform for the money and I hope you will assist me in resolving the issue so neither of us goes away dissatisfied.

From my point of view, the discussion is about your Arlo Pro Cameras not working on push to talk with multiple platforms.

I have checked all the settings and tried most of the suggestions contained in this thread. I have seen several people here with a similar problem and no solution. I would rather resolve this here, since I have already invested my time in the installation at my home, but if you have no further advise other than repeating ‘check your settings’...I will be returning them with the appropriate reviews from an industry professional.

And, if you do not want to discuss it further here what do you suggest? Sorry if I sound a bit irritated, but I am.

RC5977,

Are you experiencing the issue only when using iOS devices or do you get the same behavior when using a PC via web client?

I'm experiencing the same issue.   When I try to use push to talk in either Firefox or Chrome I get a message that says -Sorry; your browser does not support push-to-talk.  Please use the latest version of Chrome or Firefox browser.

I am using the lastest version of both browsers.    Push to talk appears to be working in IOS, just not the Windows or Mac browsers.

Cliegal,

If push to talk is working on your iOS devices, this means your browser does not have push to talk enabled. Take a look here to enable your microphone in Chrome: How do I enable my mic in Chrome?

None your suggestions worked, since the microphone was enabled.  Until a couple of weeks ago, push to talk worked in all browswers- Edge, Chrome, Firefox and even IE.   No settings were changed.  It just stopped working.

Does it work in the app? Have you power cycled the base and maybe reinserted the battery in the camera to reset the camera?
