can i use arlo pro only with local network?(NVR)

hello , i have a important question
as i read in support section your produts does not work with out internet
is this limitation is only for watchin home from elsewhere or i can not record videos in my local network like NVR? it does nnot matter for me that i can't watch my house from elsewhere , the important thing is that i want to record videos where im in home

The Arlo cameras all require the internet to function... there is no real local recording tho you can d/l to a local machine any time you want.

The only exception to above is with the Pro or Q Plus cameras...they have the option to record to a usb drive/mem card if the internet goes out after setup.

You can't view from these directly, but must remove/eject the device/card and then view in a external machine.
