Wire Arlo Pro

I want to install my Arlo Pro wired up against my house so I don't have to change the batteries. It's a vacation house so I will not be there frequently and don't want to rely on battery alone.

I guess I have a couple questions:
1) Is there a way to get longer charging cables for the Arlo Pro?
2) Are the charging cables water/weather proof?

1) not at this time unless it's a do-it-yourself

2) mine have been outside in all types of weather and , it was fine ( not the stock cables and ac adapter, but the out door weather proof optional cable)
