what does Classic UX mean? under iphone Settings- Arlo.

I'd assume it's "Classic User Interface" but not 100%. What options does it give you?

I think it's an option to allow iPhone users to stay loggerd into the app when it gets closed. I've heard closing the app without classic ux enabled will log you out. Having it enabled keeps you logged in all the time.
