Want to use primary email address but is associated with my Netgear account

I've had a Netgear account for years. When I recently set up my Arlo, it wouldn't allow me to use my email address that is already associated with my Netgear account. Is there a solution yet? I frequently log into Arlo and it's a pain not to be able to use my primary email address. Otherwise, I've really enjoyed my Arlo. Thanks.

I haven't had to set up a new system in a long time so haven't run into this but describe the process by which you're attempting to do the setup. If you're using the "New to Arlo" selection, don't. Just log in using that account info and then use Add Device to claim the base and get started.
