Hi @Jaggnut

Can you provide a bit more detail regarding this scenario. Did you get notified by a push notification?

Watching live on Arlo and Ring located in the same place.

When car pulled into my driveway and saw it on Ring and then later on Arlo.

Someone drives thru my circular drive to turn around after getting their mail. Want to ask them to stop but can't get there in time with Arlo.

Time frame between Ring and Arlo isn't enough to respond to a problem in (near) real time.

What are the speeds provided by your ISP? Also, you can try and reboot your base station/reboot the camera by removing and re-inserting the battery.

ISP speed is 100mbps

I'll try the reboot

Thanks

It's the upload speed that's important and it's also important what the actual speed is, not just the advertised one. Test using speedtest.net.

I use OOKLA all the time so I know my speed times. Upload 7.5mbps.

Wonder why Arlo has the problem at my house but not Ring?

Location of the servers, traffic between you and them, different network requirements, etc. and probably lots of other things that we have no control over.

Yes know all that. Looking for more.

Looks like my Ring camers work better at my house so I'll  add to my system with Ring.

I leave lots of reviews and beta test some so I'll let people know my results.

Thanks for your help.
