Is it ok to leave the lithium ion battery in the charger, once the battery is completely charged for an lengthy period of time, until I am ready to use it?  Or is it recommended to remove the battery from the charger, once charged, and store it until ready for use?

The camera can hold the battery while plugged in all the time it will not overcharge...( as it realy only goes to 80% in camera tho it says 100% )

On the charger tho there is protection, I would remove the battery after fully charged ( i would do this anyway for all li-ion batteries after fully charged as a precautionary method )
