I Just got an ARLO surveillance system for one of our companies retail locations, its one of there older systems, VCM4030, and in attempting to set it up I can view only 1 of the cameras, since I cant get the others to connect, I have not yet created a subscription, as I am not going to pay for a system I cannot get to work. I get one of the ARLO reps in the chat, who in my opinion, as an individual that did customer service for over 20 years, was very snide and opinionated. I wanted to go to the boards, as they suggested, to see if others are also having issues getting assistance from this "American" company. When I contacted the parent corporation, NETgear ( ARLO is still currently traded under this companies name on the stock exchange as of 5-30-2023), I was advised they have been a separate entity for over 3 years and the parent company has nothing to do with them any longer. has anyone else had these issues with the company? what steps could the company take to re-earn your support for the brand?

Tamozar,

What issue are you experiencing with your Arlo device? If you're able to provide details, we may be able to assist here on the community.

What behavior are you seeing when attempting to sync cameras?

I am trying to link the cameras to my system. However the LED will not turn blue it always blinks amber.

I think the battery is so low it won't allow them to sink, and my charger is half dead and working on full dead. So I think k I need to replace the charger, charge the batteries and then it should work. I hope.

Tamozar,

Yes, a low or depleted battery will result in these symptoms. You might try using a fully charged battery from one of your other cameras to see if you experience the same results.

Perhaps off the main topic, but you are incorrect here.  Arlo is traded on the NYSE as "ARLO"

Netgear divested them back in 2018, and they do not have any Arlo stock.
