Use of arlo pro without internet

i am thinking to buy arlo pro bundle(4 cam+ base station)

i have very slow upload internet speed at my place.

I know good upload speed(2mbps) is required to upload on cloud.My question is good upload is still required if i rely on usb stroage. Memory is not the issue. I can use the 2TB hard drive. My problem is i have low upload speed.so can i get best quality recording on usb stick or drive with low upload speed on the ARLO PRO model??????

The system is designed to be connected to the internet full time. The problem with not having internet is that the videos stored on the USB drive aren't easily accessible. You have to unplug it from the base and plug it into a computer and watch the videos with something like VLC. You won't be able to log into the app and control anything or see motion or battery levels. You won't get any notifications.

Best plan is to upgrade your internet connection
