My 3 Pro Cameras were my workhorse cameras when I got them.  They still work great with the original battery.  Over the recent years, I added 4 and 5S, and the Pros have been "demoted" less than primary duty.   At the current house. I have 9 cameras operating, but I don't really need that many as they are duplicating coverage, and want to storage the Pros.

My questions are, is there a proper way to store and turn off these cameras that are not in use?  Should I take the battery out?  Or do you think the cameras need "power" for storage?

Looking at the Arlo website, they don't sell OEM replacement batteries anymore.  I see used on ebay (which I don't want) or new off-brands.   My original batteries are still doing well, but I kind of worry that one day, even off-brands will be out of stock.

Yes, technology moves forward, etc, etc.  But I like my Arlo Pros.

Yes, remove the batteries before storage. I would suggest using the cameras until the battery level is ~40% before storage which is the recommended level for li-ion batteries of any sort.
