Trying to set up 2 bases and 8 cameras. Only allowing 5 cameras? Need to remove second base?

Trying to set up 2 bases and 8 cameras. I set up the second base and it will only allow 5 cameras without a subscription. Tried setting up another email address, to share, but it still only allows 5 cameras. Do I have to remove the second base and cameras and set up under the other email address? Very frustrated

Yes.  The limit of 5 cameras for free cloud storage is an account limit, not a base station limit.  So you need to put one base and at least three cameras in a different account.  You can then use grant access so that the all recordings can be accessed from either account.  https://kb.arlo.com/000039122/How-do-I-add-friends-to-my-Arlo-account

Note that the newer cameras don't include any free cloud storage.

If you were planning to stay free, then yes

Each base will only handle 5 cams total...to set up a second, it needs a second email/pw ( new account )

But, there are many other extras if you go to a payed plan; longer storage time, smart, etc.
