I have  3 wire-free HD security cameras and wish to set a different schedule for one of the cameras. I have followed the instructions at How do I create a mode with different rules for each Arlo Wire-Free or Arlo Pro Wire-Free camera:

https://kb.arlo.com/1019331/How-do-I-create-a-mode-with-different-rules-for-each-Arlo-Wire-Free-or-A...

These instructions, however, do not apply to Model VMS3330 and consequently when I set up a rule for the camera for which I wish to have a different schedule the camera does not trigger when motion is detected. Is it possible that Model VMS3330 does not support this feature? If so, where might I find instructions specific to Model VMS3330? Thank you!

What I'm having trouble understanding is that, once I click on my  base, how do I set a schedule for an individual camera. Every time I try to set a schedule for just one camera, the schedule is applied to all 3 of my cameras. I wish to have 2 cameras on one schedule and the third camera on a separate schedule. Sounds simple, but I'm must be a mental midget.

I think the problem here is that you are stuck on scheduling individual cameras.  What you are scheduling is the system (more precisely, the base station).

So broaden this out a bit:

  • sometimes you might want no cameras (existing DISARMED mode)
  • sometimes you might want only one camera
  • sometimes you might want only two cameras
  • sometimes you want all cameras (existing ARMED mode)

The first step is to create two custom modes for the two middle cases.  https://kb.arlo.com/42/What-are-modes-and-rules-and-how-does-Arlo-use-them

Then create a schedule that uses these four modes.

The instructions for setting up modes and rules are the same for all cameras and bases.

Each mode has rules for only those cameras you wish to have active. Any camera without a rule is disarmed. That means you would have unique modes for specific time periods in the schedule or for specific usage. Select the mode and test. If it doesn't work, try the Armed mode to verify that works.

You can also post screenshots of your modes and rules so we can see what you have.

What you want works with all the Arlo cameras...but it is really a two step process.

Also tho SCHEDULE is listed as a mode, it is really a timer to allow time slot for the other modes.

read these;

So, First, you need to create CUSTOM modes and then use them in the schedule. The custom modes allow you to split up ALL the cameras into Groups you need.

Tips;

any camera NOT in the active mode is off

if you need to go thru midnight , break the time into 2 parts ...up to 1159pm and then next day 12 midnight onward

If more than one camera in a custom mode, add the first and save, then go back and edit to add the next.

Thank you for your kind response.
For whatever reason I am unable to post screenshots. They simply do not paste into this document.

Here’s what I don’t understand. Step 3  at the following Arlo site says to Tap or Click the device requiring schedule setting changes. That said, I can’t see where on the screen  that appears there is an option to Click on the device requiring a schedule change. https://kb.arlo.com/4900/How-can-I-set-a-schedule-for-my-camera-in-my-Arlo-account

The screen that appears simply shows a symbol for  my base station and the Armed, Disarmed, Schedule etc options. No place to click on a device.
Sorry to be so slow on the uptake.

Thank you for your kind assistance.
The Arlo links haven't helped me so far.
Please see my response to an earlier message.

You can attach screenshots by using the paperclip or Add File selection under the text box you type into.

Step 3 wants you to click on your base. When you go to the Mode tab, all that's shown is your base (if you have multiple bases, you'd see each one). When you click on that base, you get to the section where Armed, Disarmed, Schedule, etc. are shown. So, you're already there, just trying to read too much into the directions.

Sounds simple, but I'm must be a mental midget.
