Arlo Pro camera heats up and drains the battery fast

Hi,
I have a bundle of 5 Arlo Pro VMC4030 cameras with its base station VMB4000 for 3 years.

All have worked well, except, so far, one of the cameras.

It turns out that it works relatively well (it connects, records, I can use it, etc ...) BUT now it gets very hot and drains the battery in less than a day.
I thought the problem was his battery but I changed it and the same thing happened, heats up and spends the new battery just as fast. The original battery worked well on another of the cameras.

What could be happening to it?

All cameras are inside the house.
They are within the reach of the base station.
They do not receive the sun.
They are the same model.
They are updated with the latest firmware (1.092.0.24_985)

If removing battery to reset along with a removal of the device and bringing back as new doesn't help... it may just be a hardware issue after three years... electronics do fail now and then.

OR

How about pulling battery and just leaving it plugged in ??
