I recently updated the software to the ARLO system.  Seemed like the right thing to do prior to losing access.  Since then I lost all connection to my cameras (4 of them).  During this time every camera has drained all of its battery life trying to sync up.  I've not only lost the communication and protection they provide, I now have to replace all of the battieres ahead of my schedule.  Yes, I am frustrated with this since it was so easy to update the app, however the ramifications of the 'real world' (opening up each camera to sync with the base station) was not clear.  I thought I was being proactive by updating the app, however I lost all recorded protection from my ARLO system.  Now I am waiting replacement batteries to get my system back online.

Tips: Update app when you are able to service each camera manually.
