Reduce movement sensitivity for shadows?

If you look at the clip, you cen see the camera thinks the shadow is actual movement. Around mid day it constantly happens. I turned down the sensitivity all the way down in the app, but that didnt make much difference. 

Im not sure if there is something else I can do, or if I should just move the camera to a different spot.

The camera's PIR sensors don't detect shadows - they detect IR. The likely source of this would be the sun's strong IR being reflected from leaves and branches. Many of us use custom modes for those times of day that this can be a problem and use the schedule to automate the switching. Remember that the sun changes location in the sky as the seasons pass so the IR may be reflected enough at certain times of the year but not others.

 

The correct way to change sensitivity is in your modes and rules, not the motion test, which simply gives you a number to put into those rules. Also, repositioning the camera to remove those reflective sources could help as long as you still get what you need.
