Even after 48 hours of charging, the amber light still blinks for my new Arlo Pro Cameras and the iOS App says please replace batteries. I have hardly used it, do I need to replace the rechargable batteries on my Arlo Pro?
Can anyone confirm whats the life on those rechargeable batteries.
Camera is used internally to monitor baby with nanny or granny when we are out.

How are you charging the battery?
I tried different charging methods when testing why my blue charging light did not become solid when at 100% (even after changing app settings), and in the process I noticed that the charging can be quirky depending many factors:
- USB cable + Power Adapter plugged into wall: blue light flashes quickly upon plugging in (charge indicator), and becomes solid after full charge
- USB cable + Power Adapter plugged into power strip: blue light flashes quickly upon plugging in, but may or may not become solid after full charge (some cameras did, others didn't)
- USB cable plugged directly into 1.0A USB slot on power strip: blue light flashes when plugged in, but becomes solid amber light (probably insufficient charge?)
After reading some other threads, it seems that plugging the adapter directly into the wall is the best way to ensure a proper charge, although it's probably not the most convenient way.

Don't forget that to charge the battery you have to use a power supply that 1) supports the Qualcomm quick charge capability and 2) supplies 9v. A standard USB charger supplies only 5v and may not supply enough current to even run the camera.
