Receiving over a thousand emails a day about motion. Never turned them on.

I've been researching threads on how to turn email notifications off through the Arlo app by going into mode, armed, and hitting the little pencil next to each camera and making sure the emails notifications are unticked. I never turned them on when I set up my Arlo and also did not turn them on manually after it was installed. They have never been turned on and they are currently not turned on but I still receive over a thousand emails a day from Arlo telling me about movement. So this must be an issue on arlo's part. Any help would be appreciated.

What mode is set active when you get the email notifications?
If you create a custom mode same as the armed mode will it still send you email notifications?

A further thought is if you’re selecting save after you change the rule.
