Hey all. I recently purchased a one camera Arlo Pro system to get started.

I noticed that there is a setting for motion sensitivity in the camera settings section, and there is also a motion sensitivity setting in the rules section.

So my question is why 2 areas to set sensitivity? Are they setting different parameters, or what?

I’ve noticed that the settings do not correspond, and can both be set to different levels

Edit*** nevermind. I answered my own question.... I just had to word my search correctly

Well for others that may have the question...

The motion sense level in settings is for setting up the camera; gets an aprox of how the camera sees and range

The motion sense level in the mode is the one that detects people and is the one you should be adjusting for actual recordings
