I just set up a new system with 3 cameras. One camera works fine, the other 2 have battery life issues. I have deleted and re-added the bad cameras multiple times, but no luck. All 3 are on the same wall pointed at the same street. The closest camera (which shows the best signal) has the worst battery life even with mic, speaker, and night vision all turned off and motion turned down to 30%. The "good" camera, which is furthest away, lasts 3-4 weeks. The other two last 3-5 days. I bought 3 spare batteries and the official dual charger and have had the same problem regardless of which battery is where. This system is terrible. The motion detection/positioning always show busy on the "bad" camer as well.

Can it be fixed? Or should I throw it in the trash?

Netgear/Arlo says with 5 minutes of recording time a day the batteries should last 3-4 months. I get less than 50 one minute recordings per day and I get 2-3 months out of the batteries. How much recording time and/or live viewing time are you doing per day?
