What’s going on recently with the very short battery life on cameras and the constant disconnecting from the base station. Cameras have worked fine and were lasting months until recently, now lucky to get a week out of them. Something to do with the latest update possibly? Anyone else having problems?

FW may be possible...
first, reset camera by removing battery and see if it helps
second, try power button reboot of the base
third, if no change, use Remove Device for camera ( one at a time ) and bring back with a resync... test life
( i keep track of batteries by putting date of new in the name of camera. exp; Cam1(8-25) )

Since two weeks the batteries of my Arlo Pro Cameras must be charges one time/week.
Before this happened, the cameras can be used around four to five months with one time charge.
This problem was already mostly discussed in early 2018 and fixed around two months later with new firmware.
