I bought a new Arlo pro smart home and connected everything. It was all working until I got a firmware update notice on app. I clicked on update and now my base station won't start. I only see one amber light under the power option. I have tried unplugging, reseting using the pinch hole button and every other option mentioned in the community but it won't come on. Its a a barely week old system. Can you please help me fix/replace it?

The power led is amber only during reboot or if base not claimed....
I would contact Arlo Support.
BTW, When you reset, did you hold for 10 secs till the led flashed amber ?

It's the amber Camera LED that means the base needs to be claimed. The amber power LED means the base or power supply is bad. SInce it's new, Swap at the stor.
