I have two PROs...one batt lasts two-four weeks. The other only one week. Changing batts does no good. Do I need to buy another camera?

Swap camera positions and monitor battery levels, don’t rely on the arlo web portal, it has bugs, if the problem moves with the camera then you may have a dud battery or a faulty camera.

Things that can affect battery life are,

  • poor signal level at the camera location.
  • If using activity zones and you have a lot of motion occurring outside of the zones then the camera will still drain the battery.
  • wifi interference at that location.

Right...I did these things. Looks like I have a bad camera...same problem in both locations and with either of three batteries.

Nuts!! ...have had this problem from the beginning, but didn't follow-up on it.

Is there any difference in the settings between the two cameras like activity Zones or rules etc.

As a suggestion, try removing the problem camera from your arlo account and then add again to eliminate a settings issue.

I would not recommend this unless you intend to replace it as there is a risk that it may not be able to be re-added again due to arlo backend issues.
