Have an Arlo Pro system w/ 3 cameras I bought in 2019. Was working fine since then up until the past few months.  Its always been set to geofencing. When I check the cameras they seem fine/online, but never any recordings even when no one is home and deliveries have been made etc (things that would normally trigger recordings).  I seldom go into the app on my phone, and now notice that when I do I’m always logged out of my account.  I’m wondering if that is tied to why the system is continually going dormant (for lack of a better term)?

The system should still be working but being logged out will cause notifications to be unable to be sent and geofencing to fail. My wife has this issue so I have reminded her to occasionally open the app to keep logged in.

Can you live stream and manually record?

I can live stream and record manually yes.  But just had an event that should have triggered a recording - system set to geofencing, everyone away from house well outside of geofencing range, I verified I was not logged out of the app, delivery person walked in front of camera, yet no recording in library.  I’m at a loss

Have you tried testing it yourself by walking in front of the camera? It's possible that you may need to increase the motion sensitivity in your modes and rules and/or reposition the camera.

Have tested manually yes by setting system to armed and walking by a camera, it works every time.  Issue applies to all 3 cameras.  All 3 have been in same location for 2 years and were working perfectly until this issue arose.

I suggest disabling geofencing temporarily, and either arm/disarm the cameras on a schedule, or manually.

That will help sort out if a geofencing issue is causing the problem or not.

Are two or more people sharing the same account?  Alternatively, have you ever set up friend accounts?

Ok, I’ve set it to a schedule for now.  I suspect it will work fine, I agree I think geofencing is the issue.

I’m the only person using the account, but just realized I have an old phone (no longer in use) enabled on my account along with my new phone.  I’m guessing that might be the culprit?
I have one other user setup as a friend , just found out that user has location services set to “when I share “, though I suspect it’s always been that way.  Having them change location services to be enabled Always.
